The WaReNam project is progressing towards a National Water Reuse Strategy for Namibia by integrating technological innovation, governance, and capacity development. Driving National Impact: WaReNam Moves Namibia’s Water Reuse Agenda Forward
Over two weeks in October, WaReNam partners engaged ministries, municipalities, utilities, and researchers across Namibia to drive forward pilot projects, training initiatives, and policy development for a national water reuse strategy. The mission marked a major step in strengthening cross-sector collaboration and building momentum for sustainable water management.

In May 2025, WaReNam project partners from Germany and Namibia came together for strategic meetings, field visits, and collaborative sessions. The visit deepened partnerships, advanced planning for pilot projects, and fostered policy dialogue.
